1984 - Johan Mattheus joined his father and brother at the company.

1994 - Foundation of BENJO Bouwbedrijf N.V.
1999 - Take-over purchase of Sonuwe N.V.; Hasselt.

2000 - 2010
2002 - Foundation of BENJO Nederland B.V. with an establishment in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
2003 - Take-over purchase of Viaene & Co. BVBA.
2003 - Take-over purchase of Marifax BVBA.
2003 - Foundation of 2MB N.V. with an establishment in Baal.
2003 - Foundation of TEB S.L. with an establishment in Cabanes, Spain.
2004 - Foundation of BENJO Projectinrichting N.V. with an establishment in Gent.
